Even high quality good parts get old. This koyo radiator had seen better days. The fill neck had cracked and someone tried to epoxy the crack.
Instead of replacing the whole radiator. We decided to weld on a new neck. The new neck only cost about $30
After cutting the old one off. We positioned the new neck in place and tig welded it together.
The total repair with the welding was still cheaper than a new koyo radiator. |
