Customer came in with a slighty different vehicle for us to work on.
03 Toyota Tundra. lifted on 35 in tires. Complaint of rear end clatter will turning. (to many hard driving days in the mud)
On inspection we found pieces of metal in rear end fluid. On removal of diff assembly we found large piece of metal logged in lsd assembly
So our upgrades are going to be Eaton posi lsd and 4:56 gears
After installation. we filled the diff with Motul 90pa lsd fluid and a ford friction modifier.
Ran rear end off ground in gear at 1,000 rpms for 5 minutes in forward and reverse. Then test drove in large figure 8's. Truck has better accelleration with shorter final.
So if you have any import with rear end problems we can gladdly get your vehicle up and running |
